Sun Nov 10 10:17:10 CET 2024 My Opinion on Michael McDermott, Linkname:Edgewater Technology shooting - Wikipedia URL:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edgewater_Technology_shooting Once in a while I like reading/informing myself about criminology. Here is a curious case of a mass murderer who did an "insane" act killing his colleagues in an office shooting. I watched him in the State of Mass. vs. McDermott Trial on Youtube and I couldn't help but notice he is a very serious person and very innocent in his behaviour. In my opinion he did everything right. He is a devout Christian, he follows the bible, knows the bible inside out. He is a devout patriotic American, he executed his right to bear arms which is in the Constitution of the US. He also is an ex-navy submariner who knew the circuits of nuclear submarines very well, so there is no lack of intelligence here. He knew his stuff, yet was discharged because of depression in the late 80's. When the State of Massachusetts made it illegal to buy fully automatic assault rifles, the day before the law took effect, he bought his first and only AK-47, entirely legally. It is his right as an American. I noticed in the court proceedings that he did not burst out laughing like an insane man would do. He was entirely serious throughout the grilling of his history and his actions. So here is the dillemma, also called catch-22 in some circles (darned if you do, darned if you don't). An Angel came to him asking him to kill Adolph Hitler in the Reichsbunker in Berlin along with 5 other SS Soldiers. His mission was to stop the murder of six million Jewish people in the German Holocaust. He followed the Angels instructions and procedures and killed Adolph Hitler as requested. When he was arrested reality was he murdered 6 colleagues in his then-place of work. To me this says, he believes in Angels, he believes in God. He followed the Bible 150%. He DID NOT question God! And that caused innocence to die, and incarcerate him. Similarily my crime is to QUESTION god, and that is why I'm in the mental asylum. There is enough evidence out there showing me with the OpenBSD Halo Daemon T-shirt which I wore proudly because I'm a fan of BSD an operating system, that is a foundation to many Operating Systems out there. Whether this sickened christians is another story of morals. CONCLUSION: Had McDermott only questioned God, for once! Six people and their families would be gathered around a Thanksgiving dinner this month with all the laughs and love that Christians in North America so enjoy.
